Galaxus

Galaxus TV and I

Galaxus is the Swiss Amazon, or at least one option. I first came across when I was buying tech toys via Digitec. They then bought Galaxus, and then Migros bought them. They provide an opportunity to buy Raspberry Pi, Continental GP 5000 tires, Apple iPhones, Merkur razors and much more. One of the great things about this online shop is that it interfaces with plenty of other shops and it provides you with an estimate for when things will be delivered.

Switching from Swisscom To Galaxus

This morning the transition from Swisscom to Galaxus was completed. I moved from Swisscom to Galaxus because it’s up to 50 CHF cheaper. Whereas I was paying about 70 CHF with Swisscom I now pay 19 CHF per month when I am within Switzerland, and I can pay 39 CHF per month when roaming in Europe. The one issue with this is that if I switch to roaming then it lasts for two months, not one before I can switch back.

Playing with Galaxus Mobile

There is a chance that I have had the same Swisscom contract since 2003 or 2007 non-stop. In that time I have been very happy with network coverage. What I am less happy with is the price. At seventy or more francs for unlimited data it becomes very expensive on a yearly basis. Recently I noticed that I could get “unlimited data” for nineteen francs per month within Switzerland so I took a subscription in parallel to run some tests.

When Galaxus Sends You the Wrong Things

Many weeks ago I ordered something from Galaxus and it didn’t arrive when it was scheduled to. A few weeks ago I ordered one thing but instead got half a dozen things. I thought “Why do I have so many extras, before realising that the order was wrong. They sent me the order that someone else had made. For a while I thought “What do I do, do I let them know about the mistake or do I tell them.
