Lost Trips with the Citroën App

I have had a Citroën car for two years and I find it’s great for road trips but crap for maneuvering due to the gear system. I also find that the app is a frustrating app to use. At least twice I have lost my trip data. The first time because I think I used “don’t share real e-mail address so I couldn’t recover the password when I forgot it and then again last night because I, or iOS removed the log files.

Sun Bleached and Worn Out

Yesterday during my walk I bought a new clam shell cap. It’s the type of cap that you can take off, fold and put in a pocket. The one I had before this one was used daily for years, and eventually became bleached by the sun and sweat. It went from dark grey to light grey. What I really appreciate is that aside from the colour fading it’s fine. Trail Glove 7 Today I noticed that my second pair of Trail Glove 7 are worn out.

urban walks

I have walked in London, Paris, Rome, Geneva, Lausanne Florence and other cities for many hours at a time. I would often walk in London until I got too tired to continue, and then I would catch the tube back to somewhere I knew, and then I’d walk some more. I did the same in Rome and Paris. When you take the tube, or the Metro in Paris or Rome then it’s easy not to know how close places are.

PhotoPrism On a Pi Continued

After more than a week of working twenty four hours a day my Raspberry Pi 4 finally indexed over 120,000 videos and photos. The first thing that I notice is that Photoprism feels slower now. It takes several seconds and it feels as if it is suffering. Overloaded with 120,000 Files The Raspberry Pi 4 and PhotoPrism were not designed to have so many photos at once. It tells me that 63,000 files are videos, which I will remove from this archive eventually.
